Storm Arwen

 Storm Arwen occurred on the night of 27th November 2021. A strong Northerly gale devastated woodland and property throughout Scotland and northern England. Kirkandrews suffered the loss of a large and much loved oak tree causing damage to graves and the wall above the old boat dock. The lead on the North Eastern parapet of the roof was literally peeled back like a banana skin- testament to the strength of the wind.
